Emmanuel Foundation is a non-profit that collects items not being used in Alberta and ships them overseas for international development projects. These items include decommissioned playgrounds, school supplies, household goods, medical supplies, hospital equipment and much more. Many of these items may end up getting thrown away in Alberta, but the Emmanuel Foundation finds ways to give them a second life overseas where they can be of value.
